Episode 1 of my irregular photo journal - Don’t do it for the ‘gram
I’m trying something new today since I’ve effectively decided Instagram is not the best place to let my photography grow. Photography has been around for over a hundred years and people managed to get their work out there before social media. This is my attempt to keep publishing or sharing what I do without having to worry about likes, vertical vs horizontal, and/or the tanking reach. Or even consistency. I’m tired of having to post the same kind of work on a regular basis only to make sure I stay in the feed. None of that has ever brought me anything worthwhile.
I‘ve spent the last few days out and about taking pictures either on my own or with a pram (or a stroller, depending on which side of the Atlantic you’re from) with our daughter. It has been a while since I’ve been out in the streets enjoying the candid photography so here’s an album of some of the images I took.
Let me know which one is your favourite and let me know which camera do you think were these taken with. I’m saying that because they’re a mix of Fujifilm X-Pro3 images with a few GFX 50S II shots. I’ve had the pre-production unit for a while to review for my day-job, but I’m going to write my own honest review on this blog soon since I’ve used the camera for a while. Can you tell the difference between an APS-C and a medium format camera?
